About Masons Eyecare

Masons Eyecare has been your local Kempsey Optometrist for over 80 years and we are very proud to be a part of the Macleay Valley. The practice was originally opened by Doug Mason prior to 1942 in Smith Street, Kempsey. His wife Dulcie also joined him as an optometrist and they ran the business together for many years whilst raising a family. Their son Steve Mason took over the family business and ran it until 1999 when Ben Bailey became the resident optometrist. In 2006 Ben and Eddie, a qualified optical dispenser, purchased the business.

It has been their endeavour since purchasing the business to make it the pre-eminent optical practice on the coast and along with their staff they are fully committed to this aim.
