IPL - Dry Eye Treatment

IPL is a long lasting solution for dry eye condition. It works by stimulating the creation of neurotransmitters by the nerve connected to the meibomian gland (the glands responsible for the creation of the tear film that keeps the eye moisturised).

A series of 5 gentle flashes are applied under the lower eyelid. It takes minutes only and no needles or injections are required.

Results are usually experienced immediately after treatment and the effect is cumulative over 4 sessions culminating in relief of symptoms for up to 29 months.
